Jamtli is one of Jämtland Härjedalen’s main attractions and has collections from all over Jämtland Härjedalen in both an indoor and an outdoor area. In the museum, visitors are invited to be active in the exhibitions in different ways. Among the farms in the outdoor section, visitors can meet people who share everyday life from the old days in the summertime.
The museum Jamtli was founded in 1912, the first museum building was opened in 1930 and the current museum building was opened in 1995.

From June 2018 there is an art gallery attached to the indoor museum, which is a branch of the National Museum of Sweden.
